About IGT Challenge Pro TourIGT Pro Tour Logo

The IGTGolf Tour was launched in 2008 as a membership based Tournament Golf Tour for core and avid golfers with a golf handicap. In 2010 IGTGolf launched Race to Q-School and a total of 10 events were played with an average field of 16 players.

After the success of the IGT race to Q-School we have identified the need for aspiring golfers who wants to become a professional golfer to play more tournament golf. In light of this we have launched the IGT Challenge Pro Tour in February 2011.

IGT Challenge Pro Tour is a development tour and was created to help aspiring PGA TOUR professionals fine-tune their skills in competitive golf tournaments. IGT Challenge Pro Tour is providing the ideal competitive environment as well as significant financial opportunities for aspiring golfers to become pro golfers.

The Tour is an exceptional gateway to the Sunshine and PGA Tours. Each and every year, we will say goodbye to those who graduate to greener pastures, while we welcome a new crop of future players endeavouring to follow in the footsteps of IGT Challenge Pro Tour Alum - Exactly our number ONE Goal.

In 2011 the IGT Challenge Pro Tour held 26 tournaments in Gauteng. The tour began in February, ending beginning December with the Tour Championship. The total payout for 2011 was 1 Million Rand.

The IGT Pro Tour will have 32+ tournaments in 2012 starting end of January and ending beginning December 2012.

The IGT Challenge Pro Tour headquarters and the Tour Office are located in Pretoria.

Sincerely

The IGT Challenge Pro Tour Staff
