IGTGolf Formats Played Mostly Individual Gross – No Handicap. The lowest score wins the Tournament. Individual Stableford – Stableford scoring systems are stroke-play formats in which the high total wins, not the low. That's because in Stableford, your final score is not your stroke total, but rather the total points you have earned for your scores on each individual hole. Individual Modified Medal – A player can score maximum 3 over par per hole e.g. par 4 you can score maximum 7 on that hole. Your handicap gets subtracted from your gross score to give you a Nett score. The lowest Nett score wins the tournament. Played occasionally Better Ball – The two players on the team each play their own ball throughout the round. The low score, or better ball, among the two on each hole is the team's score for that hole. Combined Better Ball – The two players on the team each play their own ball throughout the round. Both scores are added for each hole. Foursomes - Foursomes is a competition format in which teams are comprised of two players each, and the players alternate hitting the same ball. The first player tees off, the second player hits the second shot, the first player hits the third shot, and so on until the ball is holed. Players alternate hitting tee shots so that the same player doesn't hit every drive.
