IGT Open Golf Tournaments
Operating in South Africa, the International Golf Tournaments (IGT) has pioneered an innovative new competitive golf arena. With the IGTGolf Pro-Net open golf tournaments, avid golfers can compete on a level close to that of their PGA heroes without having to be a scratch golfer or qualify to do so. With IGTGolf innovative structure, based on scoring related to an IGT-assigned handicap value, players of all skill levels can compete amongst themselves and with one another at some of the most prestigious courses in South Africa.
This is the only tour where handicap players can compete on a professional level for cash prizes, and our purses are more significant than those offered by similar smaller tours. Players may also compete in our events as amateurs for non-monetary prizes.
There are many benefits to competitive golf, even as a player with a handicap. Competing amongst players who are of a higher skill level often leads to significant improvement in your game, and with the advanced IGTGolf Handicap system, even par should be achievable for all players, meaning that you are always in the competition.
The average winning score on the IGTGolf Tour is 71 Nett.
